<p>A determination device for determining the degree of deterioration of a metal wire laid outdoors, the determination device comprises: a wire heating unit for heating the surface of the wire at a first point on the wire; a temperature change measuring unit for measuring a change in the temperature of the wire at a second point at a prescribed distance away from the first point along the extension direction of the wire; and a deterioration degree determination unit for determining the degree of deterioration in the wire on the basis of the results of measuring the change in temperature.</p> |
