Electric machine with multiple momentum support elements

The machine has a torque compensator (18) for supporting a stator (17) against a holding device to avoid rotational movements around an axis (20). The compensator has holder support elements (23) for supporting with respect to the holding device and stator support elements (22) for supporting with respect to the stator. The holder- and stator support elements has higher rigidity in a circumferential direction with respect to the axis than in other spatial directions. The stator has an end plate at which the stator support elements are directly supported.
