<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support which facilitates the adjustment of the height of the support for being mounted on an installation surface, and a method for installing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A support includes: a support body 1; a male screw part 2 which is protruded from a lower end thereof; a fastening member 3 which is screwed into the male screw part 2; and an anchor 4 which has a female screw hole 42 formed downward from a top surface. A leading end of the male screw part 2 is screwed into the female screw hole 42 of the anchor 4 which is embedded in an installation surface, and the fastening member 3 screwed into the male screw part 2 is rotated and fastened to the top surface 41 of the anchor.
