1. An apparatus for the collection of dog waste, comprising:
a pole; a loop attached to an end of the pole; at least two retaining fixtures affixed to the pole; and wherein one of the at least two retaining fixtures secures a plastic bag around the loop, the plastic bag is compressed to form a pocket and the loop and bag is positioned below the butt of a dog to collect waste from the dog while the dog is pooping; wherein one of the at least two retaining fixtures is a cloth hook and loop fastener and the fastener in an open position extends through at least one handle of the plastic bag and in a closed position secures the plastic bag around the loop; and wherein one of the at least two retaining fixtures is a cloth hook and loop fastener and the fastener in a closed position secures additional plastic bags to the pole.
