<p>According to the present invention, a method to cool a structure using liquid fuel and a catalyst comprises: (1) a step of progressing an endothermic reaction to generate an amount of heat absorption by bringing a solid catalyst including zeolite in contact with liquid fuel; and (2) a step of cooling a structure using the amount of heat absorption. The liquid fuel comprises one among tetrahydro-dicyclopentadiene, methylcyclohexane, n-dodecane, and a group formed of the combination thereof. The solid catalyst comprises zeolite, metal-activated zeolite, or alkali-treated zeolite; and is manufactured by a manufacturing step of forming a pellet type solid catalyst formed of the zeolite including silica and alumina with a mole ratio of 1:20 or 25, and having 0.15 cm^3/g or greater of microblow holes with a diameter of 2 nm or less. The cooling method using the catalyst mentioned above can efficiently cool a structure of a supersonic flight vehicle, a small flight vehicle, a rocket propellant, or others.</p> |
