The present invention relates to a novel use of cis-cyclo(L-Val-L-Pro) and provides an antimicrobial composition and a pesticide composition containing cis-cyclo(L-Val-L-Pro) as an active ingredient and having specific antimicrobial activity against mycete of Basidiomycota. In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing an antimicrobial agent against mycete of Basidiomycota comprising the following steps of: producing lactobacillus culture medium by culturing lactobacillus and concentrating cis-cyclo(L-Leu-L-Pro) in the culture medium at an effective concentration of antimicrobial.
