1. A system for delivering an implant to a patient, comprising:
an implant having an attachment strap; an end termination member attached to the strap; one or more soft tissue anchors attached to the implant and adapted to anchor the implant in the soft tissue of the patient's pelvic floor; a shaft having a distal end for associating with the end termination member, the distal end of the shaft having a first portion with a first diameter, a second portion with a second diameter, the second portion having a constant cross-section, a planar portion being defined by the first portion at an intersection of the first portion and the second portion, the second diameter being less than the first diameter, the planar portion being perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the shaft, the second portion configured to extend into the end termination member until the planar portion contacts the end termination member; and a sheath having a hollow center adapted to allow the shaft to extend therethrough, wherein the second portion is configured to extend into the end termination member until the end termination member contacts the planar portion such that the first portion is prevented from entering the end termination member, wherein the end termination member includes a central portion defining a through-aperture configured to interfit with the second portion.
