The invention is a method for producing a methyl methacrylate polymer, comprising suspension polymerization of 30 to 100 wt % of methyl methacrylate and 70 to 0 wt % of a monomer copolymerizable therewith to produce a methyl methacrylate polymer, wherein the polymerization is initiated in the presence of 350 ppm or less of a suspension stabilizer relative to the monomer(s) and then a suspension stabilizer is added when a polymerization conversion ratio reaches 20 to 90%. | ||
