A shock-absorbing mechanism for skis is formed by at least one rigid element (2) having an adjustable length, such as two longitudinally aligned rods, and a shock absorber (3), joined together at an articulated point by a system of connecting rods (4), both rods being fastened to the ski (5) in an articulated way, such that the movement of the shock absorber (3) determines a rotation of said system of connecting rods (4) to an angle (a) where a the ski (5) is bent to a corresponding angle. The system of connecting rods (4) is a simple structure having a single rod or a complex structure with more than one rod aligned with or eccentrically arranged relative to the shock absorber (3). The shock absorber (3) is a hydraulic cylinder with an adjustable spring or air chamber connected to a support (6'') to which it is attached by an articulated joint with a detachable bolt or through-pin (8).
