The present invention relates to a combined security system based on a gas sensor and an IP network camera. The system comprises: a gas sensor device for sensing whether outflowing gas exists or not; an IP network camera device for acquiring an image data, and monitoring if the data is relevant to break an image monitoring security rule by analyzing the acquired data; a communications device for transmitting and receiving a data including a sensing result of the gas sensor device and a monitoring result of the IP network camera device; an alarming device for informing a result detected by the gas sensor device and the IP network camera device to a security service manager or a user; and a control unit for controlling an operation of the gas sensor device, the IP network camera device, the communications device, and the alarming device.
