The present invention discloses an apparatus for controlling a multi-core platform wherein a plurality of cores operate in parallel. The apparatus includes: a performance measurement unit which divides a program section having dependence into a plurality of parts and measures relative execution rates by core between stages processed by each core; a performance control unit which calculates at least one among frequency values and voltage values of the cores based on the relative execution rates by the measured core; and core frequency/voltage control unit which controls at least one among voltages and frequencies of the cores individually according to one among the frequency values and voltage values calculated by the performance control unit.
