A bank notes handling apparatus of the present invention is provided with a chassis (10), a grabbing portion (20), a first conveying portion (30) for conveying bank notes, an identifying portion (60) for identifying the bank notes conveyed by the first conveying portion (30), a second conveying portion (50), and multiple accumulating portions (80, 90). The second conveying portion is located below the first conveying portion (30) and is used to convey the bank notes identified by the identifying portion (60). The multiple accumulating portions (80, 90) are located below the second conveying portion (50) and are used to accumulate the bank notes conveyed by the second conveying portion (50). At least parts of the grabbing unit (20), the first conveying portion (30), and the identifying portion (60) are provided in a first unit (160), and at least parts of the second conveying portion (50) and the accumulating portions (80, 90) are provided in a second unit (170). The first unit (160) rotates around a first horizontal axis (165) extending in the front-back direction with respect to the second unit (170). |
