The invention described herein generally pertains to a system (100, 400, 700, 900, 1000) and method (600, 800) related to integrating cutting or marking operation parameters and motion parameters. The operation is at least one a plasma operation, a laser operation, a waterjet operation, or a milling operation. A controller (402) is provided that manages both process related control and motion related controls rather than having separate controllers with respective connectivity. The controller (402) provides integrated process related control and motion related control which directly controls a cutting or marking operation with improved dynamics while minimizing connectivity and data communications. |
