A hydrogen addition system which is so configured that a hydrogen addition server (10) and a liquid container (100) are detachably connected to each other, wherein the hydrogen addition server (10) enables a hydrogen gas to be removed, under the control of a pressure, from a hydrogen storage alloy container (20) having a hydrogen storage alloy contained therein, the liquid container (100) is equipped with a cap (101), and the cap (101) is equipped with an opening/closing means (55, 56) which can be opened when the means is connected to an external hydrogen gas supply passage and can be closed when the connection between the means and the external hydrogen gas supply passage is lost. When the liquid container (100) is detached from the server (10) after the addition of hydrogen, the opening/closing means (55, 56) is closed at the moment the liquid container (100) is detached, and therefore a high-pressure state can be maintained by such a closing action of the opening/closing means (55, 56). Therefore, it becomes possible to freely carry the liquid container (100) detached from the server while keeping the concentration of hydrogen in the liquid container at a desired level, and to drink a hydrogen-added liquid having the desired hydrogen concentration at any time or any place. |
