The individual winding of each phase (U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase) constituting a DC electric motor is divided into at least two or more windings, and the divided windings are connected in parallel with each other and wound around the salient poles of a stator. In addition, a partition member, which is set between the stator and a rotor and on the rotor side of which cooling water is introduced, is made contact with the teeth of the salient poles. Since dividing a winding into two windings and connecting the two windings in parallel can reduce the winding diameter, the thickness of a salient pole including the winding can be made thinner and the width of the tooth can be made wider, consequently enabling a large amount of heat to be released to the partition member. This makes it possible to improve the cooling performance obtained by using the cooling water in an electric motor, without changing the basic configuration of an electric hydraulic pump. |
