The present invention relates to a container for a truck and, more specifically, to an overhead door device for a container of a truck capable of stably and smoothly opening and closing a shutter-type sliding door. The overhead door device for a container of a truck comprises: a sliding door having a plurality of slats connected to each other by hinges at a constant width and a constant height to open and close an opening of a container and having rollers mounted on both sides of the slats to slide; door rails installed from the upper part of both side inner walls of the container to the lower part of the opening to guide the rollers of the sliding door; a pneumatic actuator fixed on the ceiling of the container to generate longitudinal driving force for the opening and closing of the sliding door; a slider having one side connected to a piston rod of the pneumatic actuator by pins and rollers installed on both sides to slide on the door rails; connection brackets fixed on both sides of the inner walls of the top of the sliding door; and link brackets connected to the other side of the slider by pins to adjust an installation gap between the slider and the connection brackets and thread-coupled to the connection brackets.
