The invention relates to a pressure piece 11 for synchronization devices of motor vehicle variable speed transmissions. The aim of the invention is to modify the structure of previously known pressure pieces in favor of a simple and inexpensive production process without worsening the functional properties of the pressure piece. This is achieved in that the pressure piece 11 is designed as a hollow cylinder, whereby other intermediate products can be incorporated into the production process and advantageously allow a reduction of the moved mass for the synchronization process.
