[Problem] To provide a film capacitor which is capable of suppressing decrease of the capacitance even after the occurrence of self-healing. [Solution] A film capacitor which is provided with an electrode film on a main surface of a dielectric film, and wherein the dielectric film contains an organic resin and an organic component that is more volatile than the organic resin. In this connection, the organic resin is preferably a cyclic olefin resin, a polyarylate resin, a polyphenylene ether resin or a polyether imide resin. The organic component is preferably composed of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of cyclohexane, ethylcyclohexane, toluene, xylene, chloroform and tetrahydrofuran. |
