The present invention relates to a novel biomarker for colorectal cancer and a use of same, and more specifically, to a kit for diagnosing or analyzing the prognosis of colorectal cancer comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a NOTUM gene, a sequence which is complementary to the nucleotide sequence, a fragment of the nucleotide, or an antibody which specifically binds to a protein encoded by the nucleotide sequence; and a method for detecting a colorectal cancer biomarker using a method for detecting the expression of a nucleotide sequence encoding the gene.
