The present invention has a technical subject for providing an outer race of a constant velocity joint for a drive shaft which can reduce a frictional noise between a bearing of a hub and the outer race without grease or a washer. An outer race of a constant velocity joint for a drive shaft of the present invention wherein the outer race is coupled to a hub combined with a bearing comprises: a housing having an inner race coupled to the inside of the housing; a shaft portion installed in an end of the housing, wherein the hub is coupled to the shaft portion; and a first low frictional coating layer which reduces friction with the bearing by being coated on a first side facing the bearing of the housing.
