A pumping unit drive motor energy-saving control device system, comprising: a switched reluctance motor (320) and an energy-saving controller (310); the energy-saving controller (310) comprising: an operation display circuit (311), a control circuit (312), a drive circuit (313), and a power circuit (314); the operation display circuit (311) being connected to the control circuit (312), and the control circuit (312) being connected to the switched reluctance motor (320), drive circuit (313), and power circuit (314); the drive circuit (313) being connected to the power circuit (314); the power circuit (314) being connected to the switched reluctance motor (320); the energy-saving controller (310) regulating the output power of the switched reluctance motor (320) by means of regulating the rotational speed of the switched reluctance motor (320). The invention reduces energy loss in the motor, improving motor efficiency.
