A flow visualization method and device thereof. The method comprises: obtaining the flow statistics on a link; obtaining, according to the correspondence between the bandwidth occupation rate in the flow statistics and a pre-set flow state rendering template, the rendering color corresponding to the current flow state of the link; refreshing in real-time the network link topology diagram according to the rendering color of the current flow state. In the present technical solution, a link is rendered with different colors on a network topology diagram according to the rate of the current flow occupation of the bandwidth so as to indicate the current status of the link. Administrators can easily observe directly in the network topography the links having normal flow and the links that are congested, thereby improving administrators' efficiency in discovering network problems and enhancing administrators' user experience. |
