Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus and method for transmitting additional pilot channel information, and the apparatus includes a measurement module and a transmission module, and the measurement module is used for measuring the additional pilot channels of a cell, to obtain at least one piece of additional pilot channel information, and the at least one piece of additional pilot channel information includes any one of or the combination of the signal quality of the additional pilot channel, the identifier of the additional pilot channel, the position information of the additional pilot channel and the measurement time information. The transmission module is used for transmitting to a network device at least one piece of additional pilot channel information. The apparatus and the method, for transmitting additional pilot channel information, provided by the embodiments of the present invention may enable the network to obtain the information of the additional pilot channels, and determine whether the parameters of the additional pilot channels should be adjusted, to help the UE accurately receive data and perform demodulation. |
