<p>The invention concerns a composition containing quercetin and polyphosphate that acts synergistically on bone formation compared with the bone mineralization stimulating effects of the two components alone, and the application of this composition for treatment of bone disorders like osteoporosis. The effects of the composition containing quercetin and polyphosphate can further be increased by addition of monomeric or polymeric silicate or bicarbonate/calcium carbonate.</p>
