An image communicating apparatus which can transmit/receive image data through a high digital circuit network, determines whether a device of a transmitting region is busy or not. If the device of a transmitting region is determined to be busy, the image communicating apparatus performs a predetermined times of redials on the device of a transmitting region. If the device of a transmitting region is determined to be not busy and transmission is not normally finished, the image communicating apparatus limits the number of times of redials and performs redial on the device of a transmitting region. |
