<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric furnace with improved performance discharging a foreign substance may comprise: a furnace body wherein molten steel and a foreign substance floating on the molten steel are contained; a furnace port formed to be opened in the furnace body; and a brick protruding dam which protrudes from a portion of the opened furnace port wherein the molten steel and the foreign substance are discharged. Moreover, according to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric furnace tilting apparatus may comprise: the electric furnace; and an actuator connected to the electric furnace to rotate the electric furnace at a predetermined angle for the furnace port of the electric furnace to head downwards.</p> |
