A method and device for reducing power consumption of smart terminal WiFi display, the method comprising: acquiring, according to a predetermined rule, the transmission mode of a program being operated by the current mobile terminal; if the transmission mode of the current program is low power consumption transmission mode, then enabling low power consumption transmission of the WiFi display, and if not, then enabling high-speed transmission of the WiFi display. The technical solution of the present invention, by intelligent recognition of the current application scenario of the terminal without affecting the normal use of the user, enables different WiFi display transmission strategies for different application scenarios, thus saving power, increasing battery life, and improving user experience and comprehensive competitiveness of products. |
