<p>The invention relates to an assistance device (1) which includes: a sole portion (2), including a first longitudinal end (4) and a second longitudinal end (6); and a first pocket portion (12) extending to the first longitudinal end (4) and defining, with the sole portion (2), a first cavity (18) for receiving the body member end. Said first cavity (18) is turned in a longitudinal direction toward the second longitudinal end (6) of the sole portion (2).
