An E-paper display device capable of efficient battery management is disclosed. The display device comprises: an electronic paper module for updating a transmitted image to an electronic paper; a module operating driver for transmitting the image to the electronic paper module in response to a transmitted image update signal; a main processor for generating the image update signal in a standby mode according to an image update period, transmitting the generated image update signal to the module operating driver, counting the image update period in a sleep mode, booting up the device, and then converting a mode of the device into the standby mode; and a battery power unit for supplying electric power to the module operating driver and the main processor, wherein the main processor estimates a residual battery capacity of the battery power unit by subtracting a total amount of electric power consumed by the E-paper display device from a battery capacity of the battery power unit, the battery capacity being measured at a time of resetting the E-paper display device. |
