The present invention relates to a device which is conditional on providing information and is proposed to effectively provide information contents while providing a detachable device, such as a charger, an earphone, a Bluetooth device, or a sub-battery, to be connected to a portable terminal, without cost or at a low cost, the device comprising: a main circuit unit which performs the inherent function of the device; a control unit which controls an operation of the main circuit unit, communicates with the portable terminal through an external connection terminal for connection to the portable terminal, and restricts the operation of the main circuit unit when a condition for providing information is not identified; and an application which is installed in the portable terminal, communicates with the control unit so as to check a connection of the device, and allows information to be output from the portable terminal where the application is installed. Therefore, the present invention can effectively provide information while enabling a device, which is connected to a portable terminal, to be used at a low cost or without cost. |
