PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine particle detection system capable of detecting an amount of fine particles properly.SOLUTION: A fine particle detection system 1 for detecting an amount of fine particles included in gas to be measured, comprises: a detection part 10 attached to an exhaust; drive circuits 210, 240 for driving the detection part 10; and a drive control part for controlling the drive circuits. The detection part has: first potential members 31, 12, 13 which are in a first potential; second potential members 14, 51, 53 which are in a second potential; and insulation members 121, 77 interposed between the first potential members and second potential members and performing electrical insulation of them. The system further comprises insulation inspection means 215, 245 for inspecting insulation between the first potential members and second potential members, and the drive control part comprises drive propriety determination means for determining propriety of drive of the detection part performed by the drive circuits, according to degree of insulation inspected by the insulation inspection means. |
