PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method and a program that provide an interface capable of maintaining efficiency in screen development and controlling specific hardware of an image formation device.SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises: a network interface connected through a network to an external device, a processor and a memory for memorizing a program executed by the processor. The program is designed to, when receiving screen information transmitted from the external device through the network interface: display on the basis of the screen information a condition setting screen for setting one or more conditions to read at an imaging section an image from a manuscript, on a display of the image handling device; transmit the condition setting inputted through the condition setting screen to the external device; and when receiving execution instruction data for reading an image generated by the external device on the basis of the condition setting, execute reading of the image from the manuscript at the imaging section on the basis of the execution instruction data. |
