PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel combustion efficiency of a gas turbine engine.SOLUTION: A gas turbine engine includes: a fan part; a gear device configured so as to drive the fan part; a compressor part; and a turbine part. The compressor part includes: a low pressure compressor part and a high pressure compressor part. The turbine part is configured so as to drive the compressor part and the gear device. A total pressure ratio provided by a combination of a pressure ratio over the low pressure compressor part and a pressure ratio over the high pressure compressor part is larger than about 35. The pressure ratio over the low pressure compressor part is about 3 to about 8, and the pressure ratio over the high pressure compressor part is about 7 to about 15.
