摘要 Abstract SHIFT LOGIC FOR GROUND RIPPING MACHINE 5 A control system (38) for a machine (10) equipped with a ripping tool (18). The control system (38) includes a first operator input (34) for generating a ripping control signal that initiates an auto-ripping mode. A second operator input (36) is provided for generating a speed select signal for changing the transmission (25) output speed of the machine (10) to a selected transmission 10 (25) output speed. The system further includes a controller (46) with a memory (47). The controller (46) is linked to the first and second operator inputs (34, 36). The controller (46) is programmed to receive a ripping control signal from the first operator input (34) and to activate the auto-ripping mode or auto-ripping mode and deactivate the auto-shift mode. The controller (46) is also programmed 15 to receive a speed select signal from the second operator input (36) and to deactivate the auto-ripping mode and adjust the power source (14) to the selected transmission (25) output speed.
