[Class 65 (ii)] A window, adapted to open as required in either one or the other of two opposite directions, carries a pair of superposed flat links at each one of two opposite edges, one of the links of each pair being hinged at one end to the fixed frame by a pin at right angles to the flat surface of the link and being in similar engagement with the movable frame at the other end, and likewise the other link but the corresponding engagement of the latter with the fixed and movable frames being reversed. Figs. 2 and 3 show a pair of links c, c<1> separated. When these are in position on the window the pins f, f<1> are coaxial with the pins h, h<1> respectively and f, h<1> engage with brackets a<1> on the fixed frame whilst #<1>, h engage with brackets b<1> on the movable frame. |
