This steering control device sets steering reaction force properties on a coordinate grid in which the self-aligning torque and the steering reaction force are the coordinate axes thereof, in a manner such that the steering reaction force increases as the self-aligning torque increases; imparts steering reaction force corresponding to the self-aligning torque to a steering unit on the basis of said steering reaction force properties; and when the steering reaction force properties are offset on the coordinate grid in a direction in which the absolute value of the steering reaction force increases as the horizontal position of the vehicle approaches the white line, controls so as to suppress the offset of the steering reaction force properties when blinker operation has been initiated, and when blinker operation has been completed, stops suppressing the offset of the steering reaction force properties and decreases the increase-gradient absolute value when stopping suppression of the offset in comparison to the decrease-gradient absolute value when suppressing the offset. |
