PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for wastewater treatment which enable acquisition of high-quality treated water and suppress membrane clogging of a filtration membrane even when the treated water after a treatment with a membrane separation active sludge method is filtrated.SOLUTION: A method and a system for wastewater treatment use a membrane separation active sludge treatment apparatus 10 which conducts a biological treatment with microorganisms in active sludge and a solid-liquid separation treatment with a membrane module 15 in the same membrane separation tank 11 and treat wastewater by adding a coagulant to the membrane separation tank 11 by coagulant addition means 16. The membrane separation treated-water solid-liquid separated by the membrane separation active sludge treatment apparatus 10 is treated further by a biological membrane treatment apparatus 70 conducting a biological treatment with microorganisms adhered to a support.
