<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence to a glass ribbon and interference to a thermal characteristic, caused as a result that a vaporized material created by molten glass is concentrated on a surface in a region of glass molding space, in glass production process.SOLUTION: A device 10 for molding a glass sheet comprises: an enclosure 24 including atmosphere 34 in which molten glass is positioned and which includes vaporized inorganic material; a condensation device 36 including a condensation element 38 which extends into the atmosphere 34. The condensation device 36 includes a passage for receiving cooling liquid flowing into the condensation element 38. The vaporized material is preferentially condensed into the condensation element 38 by setting temperature of the condensation element 38 to be lower than temperature of a surface in the neighborhood.</p> |
