1. A method for acquiring magnetic resonance (MR) data comprising:
from a control computer, operating an MR data acquisition unit comprising a gradient coil system, while an examination subject is situated in the MR data acquisition unit, to execute an echo-planar imaging sequence, comprising at least one gradient switching in a readout direction implemented by said gradient coil system to acquire MR data from the subject; from said control computer, operating said gradient coil system to implement said at least one gradient switching in the readout direction with a slew rate that is less than a maximum slew rate that is defined by system specification parameters of said MR data acquisition unit; from said control computer, entering the acquired MR data into an electronic memory organized as k-space; and via said control computer, making the MR data entered into k-space in said electronic memory available as an output in electronic form as a data file. |
