PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a super hard alloy baseplate outer circumference cutting blade having a high dimensional accuracy, and capable of highly dimensionally accurately machining a workpiece and thereby eliminating the postprocessing after cutting.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing super hard alloy baseplate outer circumference cutting blade comprises: magnetically attracting and holding diamond abrasive grains and/or cBN abrasive grains close to an outer circumferential edge of a thin circular ring-shaped baseplate 10, the diamond abrasive grains and/or cBN abrasive grains which are formed from a super hard alloy and which are pre-coated with a magnetic material by a magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet placed near the outer circumferential edge of the thin circular ring-shaped baseplate 10; connecting between the abrasive grains and between the abrasive grains and the baseplate by electroplating or electroless plating for fixing the abrasive grains to the outer circumferential edge of the baseplate so as to form a cutting blade 20; and impregnating in gaps between the abrasive grains and between the abrasive grains and baseplate thermoplastic resin with a melting point of 350°C or less and a Poisson ratio between 0.3 and 0.48, or impregnating and curing a liquid-state thermosetting resin composition with a curing temperature of 350°C or less and a Poisson ratio between 0.3 and 0.48. |
