PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction system and a prediction method capable of recognizing shake width of a benefit value when electricity transaction is performed.SOLUTION: Probability distribution of an electricity demand amount in a time zone is calculated based on probability distribution of temperature in the predetermined time zone, based on understanding that there is variation of air-conditioning demand caused by change of temperature, as one of factors of variation of an actual electricity demand amount from a prediction value of the electricity demand amount. Then, based on the probability distribution of the electricity demand amount, probability distribution of a benefit value when electricity transaction of a constant amount is performed, is grasped. |
