PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound collection device for more accurately extracting a sound wave from a desired sound source, and for outputting it to a voice recognition device.SOLUTION: A sound collection device 11 includes: a first microphone array 12in which a plurality of microphones for observing sound waves which arrive from a desired sound source are linearly arranged; and a second microphone array 12arranged on the near side with respect to the first microphone array when viewed from the desired sound source in parallel with the first microphone array in which a plurality of microphones for observing the sound waves which arrive from the desired sound source are linearly arranged. Then, the sound waves which arrive from the desired sound source are extracted on the basis of a relationship between the sound waves from the desired sound source included in a plurality of first sound wave signals and the sound waves from the desired sound source included in a plurality of second sound wave signals and a relationship between the sound waves from any sound source other than the desired sound source included in the plurality of first sound wave signals and the sound waves from any sound source other than the desired sound source included in the plurality of second sound wave signals.
