1. A breathing circuit heating wire adjuster, comprising:
a body; a flexible arm positioned at a first end of the body, the flexible arm configured to engage a surrounding wall of an interior flow passage of a breathing circuit limb, the flexible arm comprising:
a bending component configured to bend inwards at a resistance region of the surrounding wall as the breathing circuit heating wire adjuster is pushed through the breathing circuit limb in a first direction, the bending component configured to movably engage with the surrounding wall; anda springing component configured to spring open at a release region of the surrounding wall, the springing component configured to engage the surrounding wall until a sufficient pushing force is applied to the breathing circuit heating wire adjuster in the first direction to activate the bending component; and a wire receiver coupled with the flexible arm and positioned at a second end of the body opposite the first end of the body, the wire receiver comprising:
a first wire holding surface configured to hold an end portion of the heating wire; anda second wire holding surface configured to hold the end portion of the heating wire when there is sufficient tension on the heating wire, wherein when the end portion of the heating wire is held by the second wire holding surface, the end portion of the heating wire is not in contact with the first wire holding surface. |
