<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting having high stiffness and a low thermal expansion ratio.SOLUTION: Provided is a high stiffness low thermal expansion casting characterized in that: the casting has a predetermined component composition, has a portion having 10-300 mm of thickness of a cross section, and on an optional point on the portion having 10-300 mm of thickness of the cross section, X-ray diffraction peak intensity I(111) on a (111) surface of tissue and X-ray diffraction peak intensity I(200) on a (200) surface in the tissue in a range from 1/2 of thickness to 1/4 of thickness in the thickness direction from the surface, satisfy:I(111)/(I(111)+I(200))≥0.2.</p> |
