PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip component, the polarity direction of which can be determined accurately while minimizing decrease in productivity, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor, and a circuit assembly and an electronic apparatus including the chip component, the polarity direction of which can be determined accurately while minimizing decrease in productivity.SOLUTION: A chip component 1 including a substrate 2 in which a through hole 6 is formed, a pair of electrodes including first connection electrodes 3 facing each other along the element formation surface 2A of the substrate 2, and second connection electrodes 4 formed at positions overlapping the through hole 6 in the plan view, and an element formed on the element formation surface 2A side of the substrate 2 and connected electrically with the first and second connection electrodes 3, 4, is formed. |
