PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement cut-through transfer.SOLUTION: A WDM device 10 includes a client IF, an OH processing unit, and a WDM unit 14. The client IF receives a packet. The OH processing unit converts a header of a packet to be transmitted to a device other than a router adjacent to the WDM device 10 of packets received by the client IF. The WDM unit 14 transmits the packet of which the header has been converted by the OH processing unit. The OH processing unit converts the header so that, for example, a destination of the packet is changed from the router to a device other than the router. |
