PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having a part composed of a mold including powder particles having a magnetic property, which properly has, as an electronic component, a mechanical strength and characteristics based on the magnetic property of the mold part even when it is downsized to such an extent that the minimum cross section is 10 mmor less.SOLUTION: An electronic component (inductance element 1) comprises: a part (powder compact core 3) composed of a mold including powder particles having a magnetic property, of which the flexural strength is 20-45 N/mm, and the elastic coefficient is 1-3.5 kN/mm.
