<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring high-speed sedimentation of wastewater sludge, and a method therefor. The present invention may include: a measurement cylinder which has a piston inside, in which microorganisms or sludge delivered from the outside are stored through the upper part by vacuum pressure occurred by the piston moving from the top end part to the bottom end part; a pressure supplying means which provides the piston with pressure in order to move the piston within the measurement cylinder; multiple light sources which are installed separately at the same intervals on the outer wall of the measurement cylinder in order to radiate the light to the measurement cylinder; multiple light collecting units which are installed, facing the multiple light sources, individually, on the outer wall of the measurement cylinder in order to collect the light radiated from the multiple light sources; and sludge sedimentation detecting means which detects the sedimentation state of the sludge stored in the measurement cylinder at real time by using the intensity of the light collected by the multiple light collecting units.</p> |
