PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine administration device which detects time from use start of a formulation syringe easily and surely, and which manages effective use period of the formulation automatically and correctly.SOLUTION: A medicine administration device includes: a medicine administration button which is pressed at the formulation administration time; a microprocessor 23 which determines use start time of the formulation by the medicine administration button being pressed down after exchange of a formulation syringe 44; a timer 21 which is driven when the microprocessor determines the use start of the formulation; a storage unit which stores the use start time of the formulation; and notification means for notifying the information about elapsed time from the use start of the formulation which is counted by the timer. The microprocessor determines a new formulation syringe when the formulation syringe is replaced, determines the time when the medicine administration button was pressed for the first time after that as the use start time of the formulation, and manages the elapsed time from the use start of the formulation by driving the timer.
