PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection method and the like capable of accurately detecting a flaw formed in an object to be inspected even if the object is an ultrasonic poorly-permeating material.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flaw detection method comprises: a wavenumber setting step S3 of setting the wavenumber of a chirp wave; a modulation factor setting step S4 of setting a chirp ratio of the chirp wave; a first chirp wave incident step and a first reflection wave receiving step S5, the first chirp wave incident step being a step of making the chirp wave at the set wavenumber and at the set frequency modulation factor incident on an object to be tested, and the first reflection wave receiving step being a step of receiving a reflection wave that is the chirp wave reflected by the object to be tested; a second chirp wave incident step and a second reflection wave receiving step S6 and S11, the second chirp wave incident step being a step of making the chirp wave at the set wavenumber and the set frequency modulation factor incident on a mock-up or the object to be tested, and the second reflection wave receiving step being a step of receiving a reflection wave that is the chirp wave reflected by the mock-up or the object to be tested; and correction processing steps S7, S11 of performing a correlation process on the reflection wave from the mock-up or the object to be tested on the basis of a reference waveform, the reference waveform being a waveform of the reflection wave from the object to be tested. |
